What shipping options are available?
We are looking to expand shipping within Canada and the USA in 2025 - Keep an eye out for us on Amazon! At this time we offer local delivery and pick up options.
How can I get my butters?
Currently delivery and pick up options are available. For GTA Customers - a pick up option is available to you should you prefer; pick up location is in Ajax Ontario. Please contact info@butterbae-b.com to arrange. Otherwise delivery is also available: $15 flat rate for customers in Scarborough, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa and a $20 flat rate for customers in Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton. Delivery is also available for customers in the Greater London (Ontario) area for a fee for $15-$20 (depending on your location) - please contact info@butterbae-b.com for any questions or to set up delivery!
Is there another way for me to purchase in person?
Absolutely!
We have also proudly collaborated with local businesses so that you can purchase our butters in person. Currently you can find us at Keon's Barbershop (IG - @keons_barbershop) in Woodstock, Canada. You should be able to soon access our products at Renee's Beauty Bar (IG - @reneesbeautybarinc) in Ajax, Canada - stay tuned for an update If purchasing at one of our partner locations, form of payment will be CASH ONLY and remember to check the stores hours!

What is Butter Bae-B?

Butter Bae-B is a company that truly values natural and chemical free products. Although our products are made with a babies tender and gentle skin in mind, our butters are good for people of all ages. We currently offer 4 types of butters; each infused with essential oils to promote healthy and well balanced skin and hair.
Why Bae-B and not Baby?
The logo itself is a representation of our baby girl, the real motivation and reason why Butter Bae-B was officially created. The story behind the spelling … well, it’s simply to pay homage. To dedicate, to love and to never forget the time we had together. The spelling of Bae-B is to remember and honour her twin that we lost in utero - Twin B.
What is the shelf life of your butters?
Excellent question!!! Different butters and oils alike have a different shelf life! Let’s break it down together! Shelf life is the length of time a product is expected to remain safe and maintain its quality under certain storage and handling conditions. Most essential oil shelf lives will last years while butters typically are 12-24 months (depending on the butter). In an effort to stand by a high quality product, Butter Bae-B adheres to a 12 month shelf life guideline.
Is Butter Bae-B cruelty free/gluten free?
Yes! In addition to being free from harmful chemicals and fragrances, parabens and other carcinogens, Butter Bae-B is both cruelty free and gluten free.
How should I store my Butter Bae-B butters?
Butter Bae-B butters should be stored in a cool and dry place; ideal temperature of 15-20 degrees Celsius. Keep out of direct heat or light as overheating can impact quality.
Why are products like Butter Bae-B important?
Many products contain ingredients that promote dryness and/or itchiness, inflammatory skin reactions like eczema and dermatitis, endocrine disruption and even cancer cell growth. In addition, there are fragrances and chemicals that manufactures are not required to disclose on a product label. Butter Bae-B promises to be free from chemicals, synthetic fragrances, parabens and other carcinogens. Butter Bae-B is truly made with love and intention!
What types of packaging do you use?
Our butters are packaged in polypropylene plastic. Polypropylene plastics are considered to be the safest among plastics and are both non toxic and BPA free. It is also strong and resistant to cracking - ensuring your butters maintain their quality and free from contamination. Polypropylene is also widely recyclable, making it an environmentally friendly choice.
Can your butters be used on newborns or are they only recommended for babies above a certain age?
Butter Bae-B encourages every parent or caregiver to do their research on the benefits, risks and cautions that should be taken when using essential oils (or really anything for that matter!). Informed decisions are always best! Our butters are carefully infused with essential oils in amounts considered safe for our babies skin. However, we do not recommend using essential oils with babies under 3 months old. If you are interested in any of our raw butters without essential oil infusion please do contact us at info@butterbae-b.com and we’d be happy to arrange a custom order for you and your baby! Safety first - always!
Can your baby butter be used for other skin concerns such as dry skin or cradle cap?
Absolutely! Our natural un-infused Avocado Hair Butter is an excellent option to help remove cradle cap and provide moisture and vitamins to your babies scalp and hair under 3 months of age. Our shea butter, infused or not, is also an excellent choice for dry skin and any of our butters are also useful in aiding and protecting our babies chin and cheeks from being chapped. Remember, Butter Bae-B does not recommend using essential oils on babies under 3 months of age.
How did Butter Bae-B come to be?
Honestly - we just truly wanted what’s best for our baby! We did a considerable amount of research during our pregnancy when considering what products, nutrition and other care we wanted for our baby (and no, it’s not our first - but goodness did we learn a lot!) Some ingredients in products concerned us - but we became even more concerned once we learned that not all ingredients are even required to be on the product label. Harmful chemicals and heavy metals are every where - but we decided we wanted to try and control what we could. As we started establishing a blend of natural products for our baby - we thought, there’s gotta be other parents out there like us who could benefit.
Should I be concerned with allergens?
Please be sure to check the ingredients of each butter. Our Avocado Butter specifically is infused with Argan Oil - a member of the tree nut family. Also, those with a latex allergy may want to avoid using shea butter. Anybody with a suspected or confirmed nut allergy should consult their doctor before using our butters. We also use other oils that are flower based such as lavender, manuka and chamomile in other butter types.
Can I get butters without oil infusion?
We appreciate allergies and also understand that some people simply love their raw natural butters... so of course you can!

Can I cancel or modify my order after placing it?
Please contact our customer service immediately at info@butterbae-b.com if you need to make changes. We will be happy to make changes to your order prior to your delivery or pick up for all orders that are not custom orders. To cancel an order, please email info@butterbae-b.com to initate your cancellation!
What form of payment is accepted?
In-person, if purchasing at one of our partners, there is a cash only option. If purchasing with Butter Bae-B directly online payment options include PayPal and EMT. In person, cash is also an option. We are currently working with our web platform to bring more payment options to you!
Can I get a refund?
We will absolutely refund your order at 100% if the order has not yet been delivered or picked up. Butter Bae-B prides itself on being a trustworthy and natural product; once our products are sealed and left our care we cannot guarantee they have not been otherwise opened. We would never want any of our customers to receive a product that has been opened by somebody else. However if you are for some reason not satisfied with your product(s) once receving it and using it, please do contact us right away to discuss a solution!
How can I return an item from my order?
Unfortunately we do not do returns, for the same reason mentioned under refunds. However, if you have any questions or concerns either before or after ordering a product please do contact us at info@butterbae-b.com. We'd be happy to connect!
